Attention! Important!:

These filters are not suitable for refrigerators that have an internal water filter (in bottle or spherical shape).

Black water may come out when the filter is first used; this is perfectly normal. It is carbon dust, which will be flushed out after 1-2 minutes.
You must let the cartridge run for the first time until the water is clear.
To do this, please connect the cartridge on one side first and let the first few liters run into a bucket. After that, the cartridge is fully ready for use.

A word on the topic of cheap water filters for SBS refrigerators on the internet
Many customers are delighted when they find a replacement filter on the internet for a fraction of the normal price. A 2-pack, 3-pack, or 6-pack is quickly ordered. The goods arrive, everything looks good, the filter is connected, and the seller receives a good review. A few weeks later, disaster strikes: The filter has burst and the kitchen is flooded. The seemingly bargain purchase ends up being very expensive.

Can this really happen? How does it come to this?

Recently, an increasing number of cheap filters from Asia or Eastern Europe have been appearing on the market that do not meet German quality standards. In addition to lower pressure resistance, there is also the risk of purchasing filters with cheap bitumen-based activated carbon fillings. The absorption rate here is significantly lower than with activated carbon from coconut shells. So don't cut corners; it could end up being expensive. Only buy from specialist retailers who exclusively offer water filters and are knowledgeable about the subject. If the seller has many other unrelated items on offer, we advise caution. From us, you will only receive quality goods; we, as "Wasserstelle Berlin," sell exclusively water treatment products. We are a member of the "Water Quality Association" (WQA) and are therefore committed to high quality standards. Since we purchase large quantities directly from the manufacturer and receive corresponding volume discounts, you still receive quality from us at favorable prices. Some smaller online retailers may only be able to offer inferior goods at this price.

Technical specifications of the filters:

Flow rate: 283 liters / 24h, max pressure: 6.0 bar, max temperature: 45 degrees Celsius / service life: 6 months / up to 7,700 liters. According to the Drinking Water Ordinance (DIN 1988), all drinking water filters must be changed after 6 months (to prevent germ contamination), even if the filter has a larger capacity.

Functionality:

The filters clean the water of rust, chlorine, organic compounds, and sediments. In addition to activated carbon, the filter has sediment filter inserts. The result is a significant improvement in taste. Almost no deposits in the water and ice system of your refrigerator.
